A complete weighted wire rig — an ounce of lead built in, tied and ready.

An ounce holds a bait down in real current, off a pier or in a pass, where a lighter rig gets swept up and out of the zone.

Wire is the only leader that survives kingfish, Spanish and cero mackerel, barracuda and bluefish — they cut mono and fluorocarbon clean on first contact. Losing the fish is bad; leaving a lure in it is worse.

Weight built into the rig means one fewer connection to fail.
