The J hook build of the Ghost rig in a versatile #2, for anglers who want to set the hook themselves.
A J hook gives you an immediate hookset and better conversion on short strikes and fast-moving fish. The trade-off is a higher chance of gut hooking, so reach for the circle version if you intend to release everything you catch.
The fluorocarbon leader disappears in clear water and takes abrasion when a fish runs you into a piling or an oyster bar.
