The mid-weight Hydro jig in the warm-flash finish.
Gold throws a broader, warmer flash than silver and carries through the green water you get on the Gulf side after a blow — conditions where a silver jig disappears entirely.
Eighty grams is the versatile middle weight: nearshore reef and wrecks in moderate current, with a decent hang time on the fall.
The narrow Hydro body cuts current instead of planing. Assist hooks top and bottom.
