White matches glass minnows, small pilchards and finger mullet — pale, translucent and unremarkable, which is exactly what most inshore fish are eating.

The paddle tail thumps on a steady retrieve, putting out vibration fish find on the lateral line before they see the bait.

Three inches is the size that matches the hatch most of the year. Fish it on a sweeper head for a swimming presentation, or a Hog Ball for a straight fall.
