The cutter that actually cuts what saltwater fishing throws at it.

Two things defeat ordinary nail clippers. Braided line frays rather than parting cleanly, leaving you fighting a ragged end you cannot thread. And single strand wire or cable simply will not cut at all — you end up bending it back and forth until it snaps, which ruins the leader and takes far longer than you have.

These handle both, cleanly, first time.

Essential if you build your own wire rigs. Rinse in fresh water and oil the pivot, or salt will seize them.
