Collection: Split Rings
Split rings sized and finished for saltwater lure and jig rigging.
A split ring is the tiny component that everything else hangs from. It connects hooks to spoons, assists to vertical jigs, and swivels to plugs — and it is very often the weakest link in a setup that is otherwise well built. A stock ring on a factory lure is a common failure point on a genuinely big fish.
It also lets the hook swing freely, which improves hookup rates and stops a thrashing fish from levering the hook out.
Upgrading the rings on a favourite lure costs almost nothing and removes a real failure mode. Use split ring pliers unless you enjoy destroying your fingernails.
