This is the version experienced anglers usually want. Conditions on a beach or a reef change through a single tide, and a rig that lets you go from 3oz to 6oz without changing anything else is a rig that fishes the whole day instead of the first hour of it.

It also opens up presentations a weighted rig cannot do. Run one weightless with a live bait and let it swim naturally — that is how you get a snook off a dock light or a tarpon in a pass, where anything dragging lead gets refused.

Same hand-tied quality components as the weighted builds. You just supply the judgment about how much lead the water actually needs.
