Collection: Sweeper Jigs

Sweeper jig heads through the full weight ladder, in the colors that produce in Gulf and Atlantic water.

The sweeper head has a flatter, swept profile than a round ball head, and it changes how the jig behaves on the retrieve. It planes and swims rather than dropping dead straight, which keeps a soft plastic tracking level and gives it a subtle glide on the pause instead of nosing into the bottom.

That makes it the better head for a swimming presentation — steady retrieves over grass for trout, slow-rolling a paddle tail past a dock light for snook, dragging for flounder on a sand bottom. If you want a dead-vertical fall for bait fishing, a round head is the right tool instead.

Chartreuse first in stained or moving water. White and natural when it cleans up on a slack tide.
